H.A.S. plans celebration

Push to Start will perform an eclectic mix of bluegrass, folk and old-time music for the Highland Adventist School’s 25th anniversary celebration, set for 1 to 5 p.m. Sunday..

The trio is comprised of Ed Bowes of Richmond, Va.; Trish Kleckner, an Elkins native and longtime Beverly resident; and Gregg Stump of Monterey, Va.

Bowes and Stump both play multiple instruments and Kleckner backs up their various banjo, mandolin, guitar and bass leads with rhythm guitar.

Push to Start will play from 2 to 3 p.m., after a buffet lunch at the anniversary celebration. They welcome audience members to sing along on old familiar songs.
