St. Joseph’s lauds employees at 2013 annual gathering
St. Joseph’s Hospital honored employees at the 2013 annual recognition dinner, with many being recognized for years of service.
Renney Day was honored for 40 years of service, while those honored for 35 years of service were Rod Godwin and Sandy McCartney.
Those honored for 30 years of service were John Currence, Carla Harper, Donna Lewis, Pam Rowan, Sarah Tenney and Tracey Williams; and 25 years of service were Janet Anderson, Pat Anderson, Rick Chidester, Carolyn Collins, Teresa Maxwell, Julie Neff, Linda Smith, Jean Smith and Lisa Wright.
Employees honored for 20 years of service were Toni Barnett, Jenny Beer, Nancy Bohan, Amy Cook, Harold Humphrey and Teena Thorne; 15 years of service were Susan Long, Traci Payne, Amy Sikarskie and Sandy Simmons; 10 years of service were Bev Bartsch, Amanda Jones, Becky Perry, Deb Peters, Helen Shields, Holly Tenney and Kathy White; and five years of service were Lisa Arbogast, Josette Batsenikos, Lisa Boggs, Tom Clark, Rhoda Dezarn, Kelly Ferren, Larry Gatian, Mark George, Becky Hoover, Dianna Hoover, Lori Irons, Lily Lafferre, Melissa McCoy, Jake Poling, Kelley Roy, Jodie Sanborn, Gloria Shaffer, Heather Small, Shelia Spears, Shirlene Talley, Carolyn Tinney, Kay Wagoner, Mike Webb, Shon Weese, Annie Wilfong, Kendra Wilson and Sarah Wood.
Sue Johnson-Phillippe, president and CEO, also presented the annual award for the Valued Inspired Person of the Year. Receiving the award was Mark George, technical services supervisor for information systems.
St. Joseph’s Hospital presents its VIP Award to employees who live and demonstrate the Christ values of the hospital: Compassion, Hospitality, Reverence, Interdependence, Stewardship and Trust.
In her recognition, Johnson-Phillippe stated, “As a group of employees, our patients and community depend upon us and as a unit, made up of many individuals and personalities, we are able to come together, in an organized manner, in order to carry out the delivery of care and service. It is truly amazing the commitment that these individuals have shown to St. Joseph’s Hospital. Thus, we are pleased to honor them and commend them for the high quality of services that they provide to our patients, their families and the community.”
