West Virginians invited to celebrate conservation
Join The Nature Conservancy for our 50th anniversary celebration on Friday, Oct. 25, in Morgantown as we showcase our successes over the past half-century and share our vision for the next 50 years. The event takes place at 7 p.m. at the Waterfront Place Hotel in Morgantown.
We all love and enjoy West Virginia’s staggering natural beauty. From its rushing white waters to ridge top vistas, the Mountain State’s rich natural heritage is one we’re all proud of, and dedicated to protecting.
Over the past 50 years, the Nature Conservancy has grown to be the most successful private land trust in the state – one that’s grown to protect some 120,000 acres of the state’s finest natural areas. We look forward to an evening of celebrating these successes with you, our partners in conservation.
Enjoy an evening with the Conservancy staff. Join us as we honor our conservation heroes who have helped us to conserve special places such as Dolly Sods and the New River Gorge.
There is no charge, but registration is required. Please RSVP by Friday, Oct. 11.
