Pilgrim’s Pride’s drivers of the month honored
MOOREFIELD – The Pilgrim’s Pride’s Moorefield transportation department has selected Charles Wilson as its Driver of the Month for September. Wilson works in the Moorefield feed mill department and has been employed with the company since October 2007.
Richard Alt, Wilson’s supervisor, said, “Charlie has excellent attendance. He does everything he can to make sure his jobs are completed. Charlie has a great attitude and goes above and beyond what he needs to do. His paperwork is always completed properly and he has not had an accident or violation. He keeps his vehicle inspections up to date, and safety is Charlie’s No. 1 goal.”
Charles Myers was selected as the October Driver of the Month. Myers works in the Moorefield hatchery department and has been employed with the company since February 1984.
“Charles is a wonderful employee,” said Ronnie George, his supervisor. “He has excellent attendance and is always willing to go the extra mile. Charles has a positive attitude and his job performance is above average. He always works and drives safely and his paperwork is always completed properly. Charles keeps his vehicle inspections up to date and has not had an accident or violation.”
Jeremy Crites has been selected as the November Driver of the Month. Crites works in the Moorefield pullet service department and has been employed with the company since August 2005.
Jeremy’s supervisor, Dave Coyle, commented, “Jeremy’s attendance is exceptional and he schedules his vacation around the work load of the department. He has varied duties and is always willing to do what is needed to help. Jeremy keeps a positive attitude and ensures his jobs are done correctly. His paperwork is always complete and accurate, and his vehicle inspections are up to date. Jeremy is safety conscious and has not had an accident or violation.”
Pilgrim’s Pride’s Driver of the Month is a program that has been implemented to recognize Pilgrim’s Pride CDL Drivers in Moorefield for their outstanding merit and work ethic. Employees selected for the program have exhibited outstanding work characteristics in the categories of attendance, teamwork, attitude and job performance.
