Driving course set
PHILIPPI – Allegheny Insurance Services, Inc. and the Barbour County Senior Center will be hosting a four-hour defensive driving course from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m. May 14 at the Barbour County Senior Center, located at 101 Church Street, Philippi.
The course includes free refreshments. The fee for attendance is $15, payable to the Barbour County Senior Center.
The course is approved by the National Safety Council. It will satisfy the requirements for a discount with most any insurance carrier that provides safety driver incentives.

Attendees are required to present a valid West Virginia state driver’s license to participate in the class.
