Camp Barefoot planned in Bartow
Presented by Stanlee Ventures, the eighth annual Camp Barefoot Music & Arts will take place Aug. 21-23 in Bartow.
The multi-day camping festival features performances from Beats Antique, two sets each from Papadosio, Lettuce and Kyle Hollingsworth Band with The Motet Horns performing a tribute to Motown, The London Souls, Kung Fu, The Motet, Zach Deputy, Brothers Past and many more.
Nestled within a beautiful meadow off the grid, Camp Barefoot’s pristine setting is a short drive from Washington, D.C., Richmond, Virginia Beach, Baltimore, Pittsburgh and Asheville. From the two main stages with no overlapping sets, to a more intimate stage within the woods, to the stage greeting campers as they arrive, there is plenty for fans to enjoy.
“We are thrilled to have a chance to build a relationship with top notch national acts but we don’t forget our main purpose of bringing independent music to light,” said Scott McLain, the producer of Camp Barefoot Music Festival. “To top it off we were blessed with a beautiful meadow in West Virginia that gives us the opportunity to create this grassroots community event!”
Tapping into the great pool of independent artists, Camp Barefoot’s mission is to exceed all expectations of what a summer festival can be. This summer festival features a list of performers including: Dopapod, Mike Dillon Band, The Heavy Pets, Passafire, Hackensaw Boys, Moon Hooch, That 1 Guy, Consider the Source, Pigeons Playing Ping Pong, Tauk, Stop Light Observations, American Babies, Big Something, The Broadcast, Tiny Boxes, The Hornitz, ELM, Jackass Flats, Former Champions, The Shack Band, Party Liberation Front: Akasha & Reinhold, Peoples Blues of Richmond, DELTAnine, The Dharma Initiative, Murphy’s Kids, Moogatu, Dale and the ZDubs, Second Self, Octopus, Savi Fernandez Band, Jeff White & Soul Taxi, Cara Kelly & The Tell Tale, Herd of Main Street, Freedom Enterprise, Cloyd the V, The Northerners, Aquafuture, Mighty Joshua & The Zion, Galaxy Dynamite, Higher Education, Threesound, Matt Jones & The Bobs, Ricohcet Red, N.A.R.P., Loomis and The Braes.
