Seniors make prom statement
Most high school students look forward to making a statement by arriving in style at their senior prom, but for this Tygarts Valley couple, they wanted to make a statement for others, and support breast cancer patients, survivors and their families.
On May 3, Tristan Bertamini and Brittany Peacock were escorted to Tygarts Valley’s prom in a jacked-up, custom made Breast Cancer Awareness 4×4.
The truck was purchased from Performance Motors by Khristina Croston of Mill Creek.
The customized Chevrolet Silverado was in honor of Croston’s mother and others who have been diagnosed with breast cancer.
Upon graduation, Bertamini plans on working toward becoming a law enforcement officer.
Peacock has been accepted to the Alderson Broaddus University physician’s assistant program and hopes to become a helping professional.
