Danielle Nicole Stillwell and Tyler Allen Newlon were married July 23 on the beach at Surfside, S.C.

The bride is the daughter of Richard Stillwell of Mabie and Sheila Rhodes of Fairmont.

The bridegroom is the son of Mitch and Jill Newlon of Montrose.

The bride was escorted down the sandy beach to the altar by her father.

She wore a sweetheart neckline, fit-and-flare gown featuring ivory embroidered lace, satin flowers with pearls and crystals. She carried hand-tied ivory calla lilies with her grandmother’s antique cameo.

Serving as the maid of honor was Becky Westwood, a sorority sister of the bride of Morgantown. Serving as bridesmaids were sorority sisters Faith Moore of Fairmont and Cindy Hickman of Silver Spring, Md., and the bridegrooms’s sister, Kacie Newlon of Elkins. They all wore bright fuschia, one-strap chiffon gowns accompanied by a Swarvorski pearl necklace and carried small bouquets of ivory calla lilies.

Serving as the best man was Mitch Newlon of Montrose, the father of bridegroom. The groomsmen included Theodore Vanscoy and Chad Newlon of Montrose and Mike Miller of Elkins. All wore bordeaux-blue button-up shirts with khaki dress shorts.

After the ceremony, a cocktail hour and reception were hosted at Captain Dave’s Dockside on the back lawn overlooking the ocean. The wedding cake was a two-tier red velvet cake with seashell design, accompanied with bite-size red raspberry cheese cakes made by the bridegroom’s cousin, Heath Vanscoy of Morgantown.

Following the wedding, the couple resides in Jefferson Hills, Pa.
