Mr. and Mrs. Pinaki Santra

Hayleigh Tasha Stewart of Huntersville, N.C., and Pinaki Santra of Elkins were married April 26. The ceremony was at 5 p.m. at Governor Thomas Bennett House in Charleston, S.C. The bride’s godmother, Franza Giffen, officiated. A reception followed in the same location.

The bride is the daughter of the late Larry Stewart and Wende Stewart Grattan. her mother and stepfather, Mr. John Grattan Jr., reside in Corolla, N.C. The bride earned a Bachelor of Arts in cultural studies and Jurist Doctor from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She currently is an associate attorney at Motley Rice LLC of Mt. Pleasant, S.C.

The bridegroom is the son of Dr. and Mrs. Santra, formerly of Elkins, currently of Alexandria, Va. He earned a Bachelor of Science in commerce from the University of Virginia and a Master of Arts in city and regional planning from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He is currently a senior consultant at Clarity Solution Group of Chicago, Ill.

Maids of honor were Elizabeth Terrell and Jaclyn Dillard. The bride’s attendants were Kristen Strauss, Taylor Stading, Maria Juambeltz, Meghan Engle, Lisa Santra and Kathryn Stewart. Caroline Lee, daughter of Mr. Matt and Misha Lee, was the flower girl.

Best man was Joseph Moulden. The bridegroom’s attendants were Raman Santra, Alex High, Alex Rich, Phu Dang, Vincent Monaco and Whitney Stewart. The ring bearer was Colton Stading, son of Matt and Taylor Stading.

The rehearsal dinner was hosted at Taste of India restaurant April 25. The couple honeymooned in Hawaii, and Japan and reside in downtown Charleston.
