Mr. and Mrs. Travis Scott Yost
Sarah Elizabeth Suan and Travis Scott Yost were united in marriage at 4:30 p.m., Saturday, Oct. 3, at Pete Dye Golf Club in Bridgeport.
The bride is the daughter of William and Priscilla Suan of Johnstown. She is the granddaughter of Gene Doyle of Beverly and the Sandra Doyle and Reginald and Judy Suan of Quiet Dell and the great-granddaughter of William Post of Quiet Dell and the late Mary Post.
The bride-groom is the son of Scott and Judy Yost of Big Springs.
The bride wore a delicate, beaded, strapless lace, slim fit and flare gown with scallop edging, adorned with a silver applique at the waist. She wore an ancestor’s 1880 gold Elgin watch that was a gift from her Mammaw Suan.
The bride was escorted by her father, William Suan, and was given in marriage by both parents. The Rev. Karen Brown and the Rev. Ann Crawford officiated the ceremony. Music was provided by the Riverside String Quartet.
The matrons of honor were Robin Ward and Kristy Hurst. Bridesmaids were Jessica Stout, Rebecca Jones, Elizabeth Hensley and Katie Morrison.
The flower girls were Mattie Curry and Sofia Hensley. Luke Given was the ring bearer.
Programs were handed out by Madison Seti and Lauren Seti. Ushers were Eric Sprouse, Derrick Curry, Lauren McCarthy, Ben Talbott and Megan Talbott.
The bride-groom’s best man was Mathew Whipkey. Groomsmen were Andrew Moreau, Mitchell Frymier, Patrick Frymier, Michael Roberts and Quill Ward.
A reception followed at Pete Dye Golf Club, and the couple enjoyed a honeymoon in Jamaica. They now reside in Weston.
