ELKINS — Debra L. Arbogast, personnel officer, is being recognized for 40 years of service with Davis Trust Company in Elkins.
The Board of Directors and management of Davis Trust Company are pleased to recognize the dedicated service of Arbogast, who reached the milestone of 40 years on Oct. 1.
Arbogast started with Davis Trust Company in October 1976 in the bookkeeping department as a file clerk. Over the years, she has worked in other capacities, including switchboard operator and as a teller. Presently she serves as the bank personnel officer.
Upon reflection of her 40-plus years of service with Davis Trust Company, Arbogast said she can sum things up with one word, “Opportunity.”
She started as a high school graduate with no prior work experience. She has had the opportunity to work with some outstanding mentors in the financial services field along the way, she said.
Arbogast is a life-long resident of the Chenoweth Creek Community, where she resides with her husband, Denver. She is the only child of Joyce Evans and the late Robert Evans.
Arbogast said she feels blessed to be associated with an amazing group of co-workers in a well-established business in the city of Elkins.
“We are extremely pleased to recognize Debbie’s outstanding tenure of service with Davis Trust Company,” said bank President Michael R. Price. “Her 40-plus year career speaks highly of the dedicated employees we have at the bank.”
