Morgan retires today from Davis Trust Co.
ELKINS — Gregory R. Morgan, treasurer, will retire from Davis Trust Company today, with more than 45 of service.
The Board of Directors and management of Davis Trust Company are pleased to recognize the dedicated service of Gregory R. Morgan.
Morgan is a graduate of Elkins High School and the West Virginia Business College. He graduated from business college on March 3, 1971, and began working at Davis Trust Company less than two weeks later. Over his career, he has completed many banking courses and seminars, including the West Virginia Bankers School of Lending.
During his years of service, he has served in various areas of responsibility, including head teller and security officer, assistant treasurer and security officer and treasurer and security officer.
Morgan has been a dedicated member of the Kiwanis Club of Elkins for more than 26 years, having served as club treasurer for several years. In his spare time, he enjoys woodworking, the outdoors and spending time with family. He is particularly proud of his children, son Jonathan and wife, Jennifer, and daughter Betsy and husband, Ryan. He and wife, Pam, also have two grandchildren, Grant and Emma.

Price. “He has maintained a steady presence at the bank over his 45-plus years of service. He will be greatly missed, but we certainly wish Greg the very best in his retirement.”
