Pilgrim’s Pride honors Partners of the Month
Jose Santiago has been honored as the October Partner of the Month for the Pilgrim’s Pride Moorefield fresh plant. Mr. Santiago works in the Trussed Wogs department on night shift and has worked for the company for seven months.
“Jose is a terrific employee,” said Donna Smith, his supervisor. “He has great attendance and his teamwork is excellent. Jose gives 100 percent at all times and he is always in a good mood. He likes to make his co-workers smile and laugh. Jose excels in his job performance, he does his share and more than required of him. He is very safety minded. Jose recently suggested a safety improvement in the department that we implemented and also helped to avoid downtime in the department.”
Juan Cruz has been honored as the November Partner of the Month for the Pilgrim’s Pride Moorefield fresh plant. Cruz works in the live receiving department on night shift and has worked for the company for eight months.
Cruz’s supervisor, Acie Tilley, commented, “Juan has perfect attendance, and he is always on time for work. He is always looking for ways to help new employees. He continuously gives 100 percent in his work and tries to encourage others to do the same. Juan is also a translator for several departments. He has a great attitude, and is very safety conscious, always looking for potential safety issues.”
Aaron Lane has been honored as the December Partner of the Month for the Pilgrim’s Pride Moorefield fresh plant. Lane works in the maintenance department on night shift and has worked for the company for four years.
“Aaron has exceptional attendance and is always prompt,” said Woody Mangold, his supervisor, “He is a wonderful team player, helping production departments when needed and goes the extra distance to accomplish a task. Aaron excels in the job performance category. He had an idea we utilized that helped increase productivity and department efficiency. Aaron keeps safety a top priority.”
The Partner of the Month is a program that has been implemented to recognize employees for their outstanding merit and work ethic. Employees in the program have exhibited outstanding work characteristics in the categories of attendance, teamwork, attitude and job performance.
