HAS students learn from nature
ELKINS — Highland Adventist School students recently used the Allegheny Highlands trail to hike 4 miles from the school to the Kerens area. The event was part of the school’s outdoor recreational skills program. At the end of the hike, the students enjoyed lunch around a bonfire and a variety of outdoor activities.
“Our students gained valuable exercise, created great memories and had a wonderful time during our November outdoor skills event,” Principal Cheryl Jacko, said.
