PARSONS – The Mt. Top Center will  host its monthly outpost, weather permitting, Jan. 17. Please bring your favorite covered dish and join in the fun and fellowship.

Travel News

The travel committee will collect the first payment for the New York trip from 9:30-11 a.m. Thursday. If you cannot make it at this time, call the Parsons Center at 304-478-2423 to make other arrangements.

The lists for possible trips to Washington, Pennsylvania for a casino and shopping, a fall beach trip and a July 20 baseball game are filling up quickly. People interested in any of these trips should contact the Parsons Center and have their name and phone number placed on the list. When the details of the trip are finalized, they will be called in the order of the list, and people can make a final decision at that time.

Swinging to the Music

The Swinging to the Music dance/exercise class, a low-impact exercise time, will take place at noon Wednesdays at the Parsons Center. You do not have to have any special talents. The dances are very easy to learn and perform. Even if you have some medical limitations you can participate. Tucker County senior centers will be closed Jan. 16 in observance of Martin Luther King Day and will reopen Tuesday on the regular schedule
