Team Anytime Fitness set to host Relay For Life fundraising event

ELKINS — Relay For Life of Randolph County is set to benefit from the fundraising efforts of Anytime Fitness’ “Purple Potty” campaign.

Purple pottys will be spotted in yards and businesses around Elkins in an effort from Team Anytime Fitness to raise money to help Relay For Life of Randolph County “flush” out cancer. The fundraiser will take place from May 29 to June 2.

Participating in the Purple Potty fundraiser gives donors three options when having the potty removed from their lawn. The plumbing options are: Take it Away for a $10 donation, Give It To A Friend for a $20 donation and Toilet Insurance for a $30 donation.

Team captain Jessica Baker said, “Working at Anytime Fitness and interacting with people has brought to my attention the amount of members that have had or has a loved one touched by cancer. I always try to be involved with our clients and this is one way that I can help bring awareness and support cancer research.”

Anyone can participate in this fundraiser by calling 681-298-5017 or stopping by Anytime Fitness in Elkins. Footprints and luminaries will also be available.
