LEWISBURG — The West Virginia School of Osteopathic Medicine has launched the search for the school’s next president with the release of the presidential search website, www.wvsom.edu/president and the preparation of invitations to apply.
Applications and nominations for the position are currently being accepted until the position is filled. For highest consideration, application materials should be submitted by Sept. 15.
The Board of Governors, on behalf of the entire WVSOM community, has the responsibility of identifying, recruiting and hiring a new president to begin July 1, 2018.
President Michael Adelman, D.O., D.P.M., J.D., has provided outstanding and dynamic leadership during his tenure and this process will ensure that the best candidate for the job is selected to be his successor.
