PHILIPPI — Registration forms are now available for this year’s Blue & Gray Reunion 5K Run/Walk.

The annual race is set for June 2, and registration will begin at 7:30 a.m. at the Barbour County Courthouse Gazebo. The starting gun will signal the start of the race behind the Barbour County Courthouse at 9 a.m.

Racers will traverse the roadways of Philippi completing the 5K distance by running down the College Hill on Rt. 119, through the historic Philippi Covered Bridge, and race to the finish line, set up in front of the courthouse.

Danielle Rush is the chairperson of this year’s 5K race and is working with her colleagues at Belington Elementary School to provide another 5K exciting race in the longstanding tradition of encouraging school children to participate in this race. Belington Elementary has been a valued partner of the Blue & Gray Reunion for years, according to a news release.

Runners of all ages are invited to join in the Reunion weekend race.
