PHILIPPI – Six students from Philip Barbour High School are enrolled for a week-long camping experience at YMCA Camp Horseshoe in Tucker County focused on leadership training and the Free Enterprise System.

Students were divided into small groups upon arrival in order to compete in what is called “The Mall Game” which requires each team to develop and implement a small business plan.

The Barbour Chamber’s Executive Director served as one of seven judges from the business community for the game.

The camp was established by the West Virginia Chamber of Commerce and is underwritten financially by Chambers of Commerce and businesses throughout the state.
