Bingo event supports patients

BELINGTON — Barbour Community Health Association (BCHA) continues to increase its community health initiatives throughout the region.

BCHA will host its Medley Collection Bingo event Sept. 14 at the Belington Volunteer Fire Department. Proceeds from the fundraising effort will assist patients with ancillary medical expenses when they need to travel out of town for care.

Attendees can expect bingo, a Chinese auction and live auction. Prizes include Pampered Chef, Pioneer Woman items, MK purses, local pottery, Thirty-One bags and more. Available for purchase will be hot dogs, nachos, candy bars and drinks.

Buy your ticket before Sept. 7 and automatically be entered into a prize drawing. You can purchase tickets early from any ABU Wellness Center, Belington Medical Clinic or Myers Clinic employee to be eligible for the Early Bird prize. Tickets will also be sold at the door on Sept.14.

Doors open at the Belington Volunteer Fire Department at 6 p.m., and bingo starts at 7 p.m.
