Public invited to Meet the Candidates on Barbour ballot
PHILIPPI — The public is invited to meet the candidates whose names will appear on Barbour County’s November election ballot during another Candidates Night at Philip Barbour High School.
Doors will open at 5 p.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 25, and the program will begin promptly at 6 p.m.
Mike Cvechko from Cvechko Insurance will once again serve as the moderator. Candidates will introduce themselves before answering questions from the floor. Blank question forms will be available at the door. Candidates will also be available to meet the public and distribute campaign literature in the school’s Commons Room prior to the program.
All candidates whose names will appear on the ballot in Barbour County have been invited to participate, including Joe Manchin and Patrick Morrisey running for the U.S. Senate, William McKinley and Kendra Fershee for the U.S. Congress, Dave Sypolt and Stephanie Zucker for the Senate of West Virginia, Chris Phillips and Ed Larry for the West Virginia House of Delegates, and all of the candidates running for the West Virginia Supreme Court.
Candidates Night is sponsored by the Barbour County Chamber of Commerce. Reservations are not required. Refreshments will be served.
