Area students earn recognition at WVWC

BUCKHANNON — Upshur County area students have earned academic recognition at West Virginia Wesleyan College for their classroom performance during the 2018 fall semester.

Students achieving the honor of the President’s List are: Buckhannon residents Shania Clack, Madison Crickard, Lisa Fidler, Breanna Marsh, Samantha Marteney, Sydney Maxwell, Lukas Samargo, Hannah Tenney, Katie Wamsley; and Rock Cave resident Matthew May.

Students achieving the honor of the Dean’s List are: Buckhannon residents John Antolini, Kirsten Currence, Kason Currence, McKinley Gaudet, Megan Hepburn, Courtney Jack, Corey Johnston, Lisa Karickhoff, Thomas Kotol, Ashton Maxwell, Maranda Peggs, Riley Queen, Taylor Rolenson, Kylee Rolenson, Gillian Ross, Lauren Smith, Seth Stoeckle, Delana Teets, Phuong Truong and Cameron Wilson; French Creek residents Eric Roy and Kaylea Shannon; and Rock Cave residents Jarrett Chidester and Cristal Espinosa Rock Cave.

The criteria for inclusion for the Wesleyan President’s List is a 4.0 GPA with a minimum of 12 earned hours for the semester.

The criteria for inclusion for the Wesleyan Dean’s List is a 3.5 GPA with a minimum of 12 earned hours for the semester.
