Road slated to be closed temporarily
BEVERLY — The Division of Highways has announced a temporary road closure on Randolph County Route 37/8, also known as the Georgetown Road/Rich Mountain Road in Beverly, on Monday, April 15, with an alternate date of Tuesday, April 16.
The hours for this closure are from 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m.
This closure is for the bridge repairs to the Beverly Bridge at milepost 7.09. Emergency vehicles and school buses only will be permitted to pass through the work zone during working hours.
Motorists are advised to plan accordingly and use alternate routes during this closure.
