ELKINS — God’s Closet will hold it’s back to school “Free Shop Day” from 2 – 4 p.m. Sunday at the Elkins Seventh-day Adventist Church (home of Highland Adventist School) at 777 Kennedy St. in Elkins.

Anyone is welcome to come “shop” at God’s Closet to receive free clothes for kids. Sizes available are newborn to teen for both girls and boys. Each family is asked to pay a $1 entrance fee (per family, not per person), which will provide them with an allotted number of shopping bags. They can then fill those bags with as much clothing as they can fit in. Shoes, coats, and bedding are given in addition to the clothes in the bags. All items are in good quality new or used condition.

God’s Closet is a community service provided by the Elkins Seventh-day Adventist Church and is open to all, regardless of income. For more information, visit the Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/GodsClosetelkins/ and read more or leave a message.
