Holiday kick-off show slated

ELKINS – As area residents prepare for the holidays, a familiar face and voice will provide musical inspiration for the season.

The United Way of Randolph County will host a family Christmas concert with John Angotti and friends at 3 p.m. Dec 8 at the Elkins High School

This year Angotti’s tour, “Welcome Home for Christmas,” offers a variety of Christmas classics and new originals focused on the holiday season.

Elkins Fordland is the headline sponsor of the event.

“We hope folks will take time before the beginning of the Christmas season and attend this concert,” United Way of Randolph County Board Member Gary Clay said. “This is great family entertainment and a wonderful way to start the season.”

Angotti grew up in nearby Clarksburg. He is a full-time music missionary who travels throughout the world providing inspirational music and faith witness to all ages through concerts, workshops, retreats, missions, conferences and worship.

Tickets for the event are available at the United Way of Randolph County and at the door. Admission is $15 for adults and $7.50 for children 12 and under. More information is available at 304-636-0516.
