Davis man facing sex abuse charges
PARSONS -A Tucker County man is currently housed in the Tygart Valley Regional Jail after his arraignment on sex abuse charges Wednesday.
Brian Anthony Craft, 38, of P.O. Box 156, Davis, is being held on a $40,500 cash only bond set by Tucker County Magistrate Riley Barb.
Craft is charged with one count of sexual abuse first degree, a felony; one count of child neglect with risk of injury, a felony; and one count of contributing alcohol to a minor, a misdemeanor.
According to the criminal complaint, Craft allegedly gave a 15-year-old girl five tramadol pills and large amounts of vodka on Monday.
The alleged victim told police that Craft had her smoke marijuana, and said she “got to a state where she did not know what was going on.” The alleged victim told police Craft “forcibly and repeatedly kissed her on the mouth and used his hand to fondle her buttocks,” the complaint states.
The alleged victim told police she advised Craft she did not want to have sexual intercourse, and said she yelled for help, but the other people at the residence did not come to help her. According to the complaint, the victim reached a point of unconsciousness and Craft carried the victim to her residence and delivered her to her mother in a semi-conscious state.
