Bond reduced in sexual abuse case

PARSONS – Bond was reduced for a Davis man facing sexual abuse charges in Tucker County Magistrate Court Tuesday.

The bond for Brian Anthony Craft, 38, had been set at $40,500 cash only by Tucker County Magistrate Riley Barb on May 29.

According to the criminal complaint, on May 28, Craft allegedly gave a 15-year-old girl five tramadol pills and large amounts of vodka.

The alleged victim told police that Craft had her smoke marijuana, and said she “got to a state where she did not know what was going on.” She told police she advised Craft she did not want to have sexual intercourse, and said she yelled for help, but the other people at the residence did not come to help her. According to the complaint, the victim reached a point of unconsciousness and Craft carried the victim to her residence and delivered her to her mother in a semi-conscious state.
