Police search for missing Randolph teen

ELKINS – The Randolph County Sheriff’s Office is asking for help locating a 17-year-old girl who has been missing since June 25.

Chief Deputy Brad T. Sharp issued a press release Wednesday asking residents for assistance in finding Caitlyn Marie Lang.

“Caitlyn is described as having blonde hair, brown eyes and a fair complexion. She is approximately 5 feet 5 inches tall, weighing 130 pounds,” the release stated.

At the time of her disappearance, Caitlyn was wearing black pants, yellow shoes and a black tank top underneath an American flag shirt.

The Randolph County Sheriff’s Office has been actively searching for Lang since the time of her reported disappearance, according to the release.

“The circumstances surrounding Caitlyn’s disappearance are being investigated by the sheriff’s office,” the release states. “Anyone with information pertaining to Caitlyn is asked to contact the Randolph County Sheriff’s Office by calling 304-636-2000.”

Sharp said anyone who believes they have seen Caitlyn should call 911.
