Ribbon Cut for Afterschool Program

The Inter-Mountain photo by Tim MacVean Surrounded by area youth and Davis & Elkins College volunteers, officials with the Phil Gainer Community Center, Davis & Elkins College, Randolph County Family Resource Network, the city of Elkins, the Randolph County Commission and Elkins Parks and Recreation Commission conduct a ribbon cutting Thursday evening for the ENGAGE Afterschool program, which is designed to both assist Elkins Middle School students with their studies, and provide a safe and fun place to go after school. The program will kick off Tuesday and is open to any Elkins Middle School student.
