Ordinance meeting set in Coalton

COALTON — The next Randolph County Commission public meeting to present a proposed unsafe properties ordinance will be at 6 p.m. Wednesday at the Coalton Volunteer Fire Department.

The Randolph County Commission will present and listen to public input on a proposed ordinance to address derelict buildings, illegal dumps, abandoned cars and similar hazards in Randolph County.

This will be the second of four proposed meetings. The first took place in Harman last week.

The third will be at 6 p.m. at the Mill Creek Community Center on June 24.

No date or time has yet been set for the fourth meeting, which is planned for the Montrose area.
