Town Hall meeting is set for Tuesday

ELKINS — The latest town hall meeting focusing on dilapidated properties is set for Tuesday.

The meeting, which will take place at 5:15 p.m. at the Caboose Room of the Elkins Depot Welcome Center, will feature Randolph County Commissioner Mark Scott and Fifth Ward Elkins City Councilwoman Linda Vest, who both will be available to address those concerns. The public is invited to attend and take part.

The town hall meetings have been held quarterly for the last two years to allow members of the community to share their thoughts about distressed properties, or any other concerns they may have, with elected officials.

The agenda for Tuesday’s meeting lists the theme as “Building a Vibrant Community.”
