Timothy Fenton Krantz, 41, a former resident of Randolph County and a resident of Fairmont, passed away Thursday, March 21, 2013, at Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown.
He was born Sept. 19, 1971, in North Tonawanda, N.Y., son of Judith Krantz of Elkins and the late Douglas Krantz.
He was married to Misty Armstrong, who survives.
Also surviving are children, Summer Jane Krantz and Mandy Krantz, of Morgantown, Keelan Blake Armstrong and Eli Blake Krantz, both at home; four brothers, Gregory Krantz, Greenville, Pa., Patrick Krantz, Portersville, Pa., Benjamin Krantz, Kitty Hawk, N.C., and Kevin Krantz of Orlando, Fla.; as well as several nieces and nephews.
His mother-in-law, Judith “Cookie” Collins; and sister-in-law, Tara Armstrong also survive.
Tim was a resident of Mill Creek for many years, a graduate of Tygart Valley High School and a graduate of Fairmont State University. He was employed as a Customer Service Representative for AEGIS and was a gifted artist, potter and crafter. He was a loving father, husband, brother and friend.
Tim’s remains will be cremated. The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. today at Tomblyn Funeral Home in Elkins. A Service of Remembrance will be held at 7 p.m. today from the funeral home chapel.
