Bobby Lee Perry, 83, of Tallmansville, died Monday, April 29, 2013. at his home.
He was born July 12, 1929, at Tenmile, a son of the late David and Edna DeBarr Perry.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters, Evelyn Ruth Coplean and Imogene Wilfong.
He is survived by one son, Douglas Perry of Perry Township, Ohio; two daughters, Diane Perry of Cleveland, Ohio, and Dawn Perry of Concord, Ohio; one grandson, Ian Perry of Perry, Ohio; two sisters, Glenda Bosley and husband, David, and Maxine Wamsley, both of Tallmansville; and six brothers, Richard Perry of Moundsville, Billy Perry of Buckhannon, Buddy “Pete” Perry of Indian Camp, Arnett Perry of Buckhannon and David Junior and Kenneth “Tim” Perry, both of Tenmile.
Bobby was a purchasing agent for Diamond Shamrock Co. for 27 years. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War from 1951-1953, was a member of Buckhannon Moose Lodge 598, Buckhannon Country Club since 1988 and loved golfing and gardening.
As per his request, he will be cremated, and there will be no services.
