Richmond Bell Williams “Richie” Nestor, 75, a resident of the Hannahsville Community, Tucker County, passed from this life Sunday morning, April 28, 2013, at her home.
Richie was born Wednesday, April 27, 1938, at Grafton, a daughter of the late Cecil Williams and Ada Pearl Swisher Williams.
On March 2, 1957, at Red House, Md., she was married to Ralph Gay Nestor, who survives.
Richie is also survived by her son, Ricky Ralph Nestor of Hannahsville; her daughter, Ruby Arlene Kelley and husband, Randy, of Parsons; her two grandchildren, Melissa Kelley and Randall Kelley, both of Morgantown; three siblings, Mabel Hovatter of Thomas, Thelma Williams of Birmingham, Ala., and Dorsey Williams of Pifer Mountain; and several nieces and nephews.
Preceding her in death were her brother and sister-in-law, Robert and Georgia Williams.
Richie was a graduate of Parsons High School with the class of 1957, was a homemaker and a farmer. She was a very good cook, enjoyed gardening, working on the farm, spending time at the cabin and taking care of her grandchildren. She was a member of Macedonia United Methodist Church.
Visitation will be conducted at Summerfield Funeral Home today from 5 until 8 p.m. Funeral services will be conducted from the funeral home Wednesday, May 1, at 1:30 p.m. The Rev. Robert Leard will officiate, and interment will follow in Parsons City Cemetery.
