Clarence Warner

Clarence L. “Bud” Warner, 74, of Buckhannon, died Thursday, May 9, 2013, in St. Joseph’s Hospital in Buckhannon.

He was born Nov. 17, 1938, at Hackers Creek, a son of the late Leslie and Clara Lantz Warner.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one son, Nicholas Warner; one brother, Charles Warner; and one sister, Betty Crites.

He is survived by two sons, Patrick Leslie Warner and wife, Deanna, and Timothy Ryan Warner, both of Buckhannon; two daughters, Allison Marie Warner of Buckhannon and Tammy Chidester and husband, Rick, of Abbott; two grandsons, Tyler Leslie Warner, of Buckhannon and Alex Chidester of Abbott; two granddaughters, Rachel and Courtney Chidester, both of Abbott; one brother, William Earl Warner of Hodgesville; and several nieces and nephews.

“Bud” was a truck driver for 43 years for Martin Oil Co. He was a former member of Pleasant Dale United Methodist Church.

Friends will be received Saturday, May 11, from noon until 2 p.m. at Poling-St. Clair Funeral Home. A funeral service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home with the Rev. Robert Heavner officiating. Burial will follow in Hampton Cemetery in Hampton.
