Kevin Bowles of Rock Cave passed away April 28, 2013.
He was born Aug. 29, 1936, son of the late Harold and Mary Mildred Bowles.
On Sept. 23, 1977, he was united in marriage to Avis Virginia Marquis, who survives.
Also surviving are four daughters, Elizabeth Cosby, Katherine Tuck of Bangor, Maine, Kristine Bowles and Virginia Marquis and fiance, Tom Bemish, of Forrest City, N.C.; three sons, Michael Bowles and girlfriend, Sue Bouchard, of Epping N.H., Emile Marquis and wife, Heidi, of Farmington, N.H., and Robert Marquis and wife, Ludy, of Bellevuew, Neb.; seven grandchildren, Reagh Greenleaf and girlfriend, Megan, Jasmine Cain and husband, Eric, Sarah Tuck and boyfriend, Sawn Braley, Chelsea Cosby, Lilian Tuck, Mary Mildred Rush and Marie Davis and husband, Chris; and three great-grandchildren, Bryson Davis, Jackson Cain and Oran Greenleaf. Also surviving is one sister, Sheila Bowles.
Mr. Bowles, formerly of Fremont, N.H., was owner and operator of Three B’s Archery, along with his wife, Avis, for 20 years and was an avid bowhunter. He was a shoe machinery technician employed at Hudson Shoe Machinery in Haverhill, Mass. Mr. and Mrs. Bowles retired to West Virginia in 1997. Mr. Bowles was a life member of the North American Hunting Club, belonged to the West Virginia Bowhunters Association and was an associate member of scorer for the Pope and Young Club.
