Tommy Allen Weese, 59, a resident of the Elkins Rehabilitation and Care Center, passed away Tuesday evening, June 4, 2013, in the center.
He was born Jan. 27, 1954, in Elkins, a son of the late Elmer Barron and Stella Grace Davis Weese.
He was married to Belinda Ross Weese, who survives.
Also surviving are two sons, Tommy Allen Weese Jr and wife, April N. Weese, of Jimtown and Joseph Jay Weese and Jennifer Williams of Elkins; and two daughters, Tammie Lynn Caynor and husband, Steve, of Norton and Shannon Leigh Weese and Justin Hammonds of Elkins. Three brothers, Eddie Weese and Dan Davis of Belington and Arthur Weese of Elkins; three sisters, Helen Wilmoth of Ohio, Grace Mora of Pennsylvania, and Betty Channels of California; and 13 grandchildren, Chelsea, Steven, Lexie, Keisha, Ryan, Kaleigh, Evan, Kyle, Joseph, Bradley, Logan, Aaron and Cheyenne also survive.
Mr. Weese was a truck driver prior to becoming disabled and enjoyed drives throughout the countryside. The family would like to thank the nurses and staff of the Elkins Rehabilitation and Care Center for the excellent care provided to Mr. Weese.
Friends may call from noon until 1 p.m. Friday, June 7, at Tomblyn Funeral Home in Elkins. A funeral service will be conducted at 1 p.m. Friday from the funeral home chapel with Ralph Bennett officiating. Interment will follow in Mount Vernon Cemetery near Beverly.
