Leonard McCollam

Leonard McCollam, 70, a resident of Huttonsville, passed away Tuesday afternoon, Oct. 15, 2013, in Holbrook Nursing Home Inc. in Buckhannon.

Friends may call from 2 until 3 p.m. today at Tomblyn Funeral Home in Elkins. A funeral service will be conducted at 3 p.m. today from the funeral home chapel with the Rev. Dr. Basil A. Hensley officiating. Interment will follow in the Brick Church Cemetery near Huttonsville.

Leonard McCollam

Leonard McCollam, 70, a resident of Huttonsville, passed away Tuesday afternoon, Oct. 15, 2013, in Holbrook Nursing Home Inc. in Buckhannon.

He was born Aug. 23, 1943, in Randolph County, a son of the late Vincent and Hazel Salisbury McCollam.

Surviving is one brother, Dewey McCollam of Huttonsville.

Also preceding him in death was one sister, Grace McCollam.

Mr. McCollam attended the schools of Randolph County and was a farmer. He loved watching television and reading newspapers and enjoyed hiking in earlier years.

Friends may call from 2 until 3 p.m. Friday, Oct. 18, at Tomblyn Funeral Home in Elkins. A funeral service will be conducted at 3 p.m. Friday from the funeral home chapel with the Rev. Dr. Basil A. Hensley officiating. Interment will follow in the Brick Church Cemetery near Huttonsville.
