Andrew “Andy” Clark Herron, 68, of St. Petersburg, Fla., died on June 13, 2013.
Andrew was born in Elkins and move to Florida from Philippi in 1987.
He graduated from Elkins High School and was a veteran, serving in the Army Reserves.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Alma Hilborn and Clarence “Squack” Herron; a brother, Leonard Herron; a father-in-law, John Putzulu; and two brothers-in-law, Wayne Triplett and Wilbert Kittle.
Surviving are his loving wife of 47 years, Emma Marie Putzulu Herron; sons, Andrew Lee and Christopher Brian Herron; grandchildren, Liana Marie, Holly Ann, Sarah Lynn and Andrew James Herron; his mother-in-law, Margaret Putzulu; sister-in-laws, Carol Triplett, Nancy Iseli and husband, Richard, and Patricia Kittle; brother-in-laws, Mike Putzulu, David Putzulu, Bill Armentrout and Dave Lambert and wife, Debbie; a special nephew, Tom Triplett; and several nieces and nephews.
Andy was a past member of the West Virginia Highlanders and worked at WT Grant and Memorial General Hospital.
