Bonnie Bell Harris, 79, of Buckhannon, died Friday, Feb. 28, 2014, in Holbrook’s Nursing Home in Buckhannon.
She was born Feb. 13, 1935, in Webster County, a daughter of the late Oscar and Mary Perkins Clutter.
On May 12, 1979, she married Vernon Lyle Harris, who survives.
Also surviving are one daughter, Joyce Sienkiewicz and husband, Thomas, of Buckhannon; two stepdaughters, Debra Dollar of Myrtle Beach, S.C., and D’Ann Harris-Blevin and husband, John, of Pennsylvania; three granddaughters, Angie Matthews and husband, Jason, of Texas, Jennifer Sienkiewicz of Buckhannon and Patricia Grounds of West Virginia; two stepgranddaughters, Katie Sienkiewicz and husband, James Lyda, of South Carolina, and Kelly Scott and husband, Johnny, of Buckhannon; one stepgrandson, Ben Sienkiewicz and wife, Sarah, of Buckhannon; one great-granddaughter, Zoe Matthews of Texas; one great-grandson, Anaiah Matthews of Texas; 12 stepgreat-grandchildren; two sisters, Kathy Nichols and husband, Sam, and Karen Green; three brothers, Leroy Clutter and wife, Donna, Delmis Clutter and wife, Donna Sue, and Bobby Clutter and wife, Gathea; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one son, Gary Hall; three sisters, Myrtle Norris, Hatti McCourt and Jean Hoover; and one brother, Nelson Clutter.
Mrs. Harris was a nursing assistant and a Christian by faith. Bonnie was a member of Eastern Star Chapter 18.
Friends will be received Saturday, March 8, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Poling-St. Clair Funeral Home. A funeral service will follow at 1 p.m. with the Rev. J. Edward McDaniels officiating. Burial will follow in Buckhannon Memorial Park in Buckhannon.
