Teresa Eileen Moats, 62, of Staunton, Va., passed away Tuesday, April 29, 2014, in Sugar Grove.
She was born Sept. 26, 1951, in Lakeview, Ore., the daughter of Edward and Julia (Cosgrove) Vinoski of Ironwood, Mich.
On Jan. 24, 1972, Teresa married Leroy Moats, who survives in Staunton.
Mrs. Moats was a 1969 graduate of Green Bank High School and was a Catholic by faith. She was a homemaker and a mother.
In addition to her parents and husband, Mrs. Moats is survived by a daughter, Tammy Yvonne Moats of Staunton, Va.; a son, Leroy Daniel Moats of Staunton, Va.; three granddaughters, Tiarra, Mariah and Kennedy Moats; two grandsons, Kaiden Isaksen and Kellen Moats; four brothers, Jim Vinoski of Lawrenceburg, Ind., John Vinoski of Greenbay, Wis., Rich Vinoski of Greenbay, Wis., Steve Vinoski of Chelmsford, Mass.; two sisters, Lucy Korhonen of Crystal Falls, Mish., and Michelle Vinoski of Superior, Wis.; and a special friend, Marggie White.
Mrs. Moats’ family will receive friends Tuesday, May 6, from 6-8 p.m. at Basagic Funeral Home in Franklin. Her family will also receive friends at their home at 421 Dupont Ave., Staunton, VA. A graveside service will be conducted Wednesday at 2 p.m. in the Jarrett Moats Cemetery in Moatstown, with the Rev. Thomas Johnson officiating.
