Stephen Paul Wilmoth, 63, a former resident of Richmond, Va., and more recently a resident of Elkins, passed away Sunday evening, June 15, 2014, at his home.
He was born June 12, 1951, at Montrose, a son of the late Brenice Jacob and Phyllis Wilmoth Cross.
He was married to Janice Baughan Wilmoth, who preceded him in death.
He is survived by one son, Wesley Wilmoth, and stepchildren, Linda Ross and husband, Allen, of Richmond, Va., Steve Wise and wife, Lisa, of California, Lenny Sneed and wife Judy of Richmond, Va., and Sharon Ashworth of Richmond, Va. One brother, Ronald Cross and wife, Kay, of Tallahassee, Fla.; three sisters, Naomi Corder and husband, Jerry, of Elkins, Holly Duplain of Surrey, British Columbia, Canada, and Samantha Ardrey and husband, Greg, of West Minister, Colo.; and several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews also survive.
Stephen worked as a pipefitter for the city of Richmond, Va., and was a Pentecostal by faith. A special thank you to nieces, Michelle, Elizabeth, Carrie, Katyanna and Savannah for looking after your Uncle Steve.
Stephen’s request for cremation will be honored.
