Alice Jane Leary Ketterman, 75, a resident of Elkins, passed from this life Tuesday, July 8, 2014, in Valentine Assisted Living in Beverly.
Alice was born Sunday, May 28, 1939, in Randolph County, a daughter of Lewis Woodridge Leary and Arlene Elizabeth Leary.
She married Hubert Ketterman, who preceded her in death.
Left to cherish Alice’s memory are one son, James “Jimmy” Hubert Ketterman; lifelong friends and caregivers, Liz and Tom Wymer; and one nephew, Steve Ketterman and wife, Lisa.

Alice attended the schools of Randolph County and was a graduate of Elkins High School. She had been employed at Reidboard Brothers for 13 years. However, Alice will best be remembered for her love of being a baby sitter for 30 years. Alice loved to travel across the country in the family motorhome and camp. She also thoroughly enjoyed attending dog races anywhere they stopped. Alice attended Elkins Church of God.
The family would like to extend a very special thank you to Jill Snyder, Terri Lewis and the entire staff of Mountain Hospice.
