Andrea J. Ours

Andrea J. Ours, 64, passed away Aug. 4, 2016, at Davis Medical Center, at Elkins.

She was born Sept. 18, 1951, in Elkins, a daughter of Andrew and Dorothy (Cooper) Waybright.

She was preceded in death by an infant daughter, Shelly Barkley; her father, Andrew Waybright; and one brother, Vaughn Waybright.

Mrs. Ours is survived by her loving husband, Richard Ours of Harman, one daughter, Lisa (Timothy) Turner of Harman; three sons, Tracy (AJ) Ours of Stevensville, Md., Weylin Barkley and fiancee, Jennifer Propst, of Harman and Brant (Karen) Ours of Elkins; three brothers, John, Milton and Kendall Waybright; 10 grandchildren, Erica and Alexa Turner, Emily, Maggie and Lucy Ours, Ann, Alena Barkley and Tessa Propst, Ella and Leah Ours and two great-grandchildren, Zayden Dodd and Gunner Bonner.

On May 27, 1978, Andrea and Richard were married and enjoyed 38 precious years together. She was a compassionate, loving, selfless wife and mother who adored her husband and cherished her children and gave all she had to the family she loved.

She enjoyed gardening, cooking and trying new recipes to share with family and friends. Mrs. Ours served the Harman community for 31 years as manager of Harman Senior Center.

Funeral services will be held at Dryfork Assembly of God Church Monday, Aug. 8, at 1 p.m. with Gray Hinkle officiating, Interment will follow in Smith Cemetery on Snyder Mountain Road in Harman.
