Brenda Sue White
Brenda Sue White, 58, a resident of Beverly, passed peacefully to be with her Heavenly Father Feb. 17, 2017, at Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown. She had been in her usual health, and death was unexpected.
Brenda was born Friday, Oct. 17, 1958, in Elkins, a daughter of the late Harvey White Sr. and Marie Carr White.
Left to cherish her memory is her loving fiance, Mitchell “Mitch” Sisler of Beverly; one son, Joshua “Josh” White and wife, Janice, of Parsons; four grandchildren, Isaiah, Jessalyn, Brooklyn White and Trayshon Funderburk; eight siblings, Clinton White and wife, Madaleine, Shirley Shreve and Mary Caldwell, all of Elkins, Steve White and wife, Jeannie, of Belington, Bruce White of Mt. Olive, Judy Arbogast and husband, “Teets,” of Myrtle Beach, S.C., Diane Aeschbacher of Circleville, Ohio, and Pamela Haden of Concord, N.C.; close friend, Lindsay Martin-Stalnaker; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Preceding Brenda in death, besides her parents, was her only daughter, Holly Nicole Funderburk; and five siblings, David Devlin, Violet Bohon, James White, Harvey “Pedro” White Jr. and Darlene Pine.
Brenda attended the schools of Randolph County and was a graduate of Elkins High with the class of 1977. Brenda was a dedicated homemaker and spent her time loving and helping others. She was a loving mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, aunt and friend. Brenda opened her heart and home to all who cared to enter. She impacted every life she came into contact with during her journey of life. Brenda never knew a stranger, only friends she had yet to meet. Her bubbly personality, witty charm and breathtaking smile will be forever loved and missed. Go rest high on that mountain, beautiful angel.
Visitation will be at the Randolph Funeral Home Thursday, Feb. 23, from 2-3 p.m., the funeral hour. The Rev. Eli Hostetler will officiate, and then Brenda’s request for cremation will be honored.
