Michael “Mike” Joseph Eichelberger Sr., 66, a resident of Elkins, passed from this life Friday, Feb. 16, 2017, at Davis Medical Center in Elkins.

Mike was born Wednesday, Jan. 24, 1951, in Baltimore, Md., a son of the late Charles Thomas Eichelberger Sr. and Madalyn Martha Jackson Eichelberger.

He was twice married. First, he was married to Sherry Lee Daman, who survives. Second, June 1, 2002, he was married to the former Tamela “Tami” Dean, who survives.

Others left to cherish Mike’s memory are four children, Melinda Robinson and husband, Steve, of Beverly, Michele Grafton and husband, Kevin, of Hedgesville, Dana Arbogast and husband, Phillip, of Elkins, and Michael Joseph Eichelberger Jr. and wife, Sheila, of Hampton, S.C.; two stepchildren, Sara Black and Aryn Black and fiance, Tyler, all of Elkins; seven grandchildren, Brittany Mayo, Matt Arbogast, Kristen Robinson, Shala Arbogast, Brooke Eichelberger, Cameron Curtis and Landon Eichelberger; one stepgrandchild on the way; two granddogs, Betsy and Bullet Grafton; seven great-grandchildren, Draven Mayo, Eli Mayo, Mason Arbogast, Liam Arbogast, Lillian Hedrick, Remington Hedrick and Jessalyn Channell; five siblings, Leroy Eichelberger, Edward Eichelberger, Debbie Langston, all of Maryland, Connie Hudgins, of California, and Ann Logsdon, of Alexandria, Va.; several nieces and nephews; his best friend, Mike Maxson; and his dogs, Harley, Toby, Percy and George.

Mike was preceded in death by his parents, one brother, Charles “Sonny” Eichelberger and his mother-in-law, Carol Dean.

Mike attended the schools of Baltimore, had worked at Elkins Industries and retired from Armstrong Flooring in 2009.

He loved West Virginia University and Baltimore Ravens football, Baltimore Orioles baseball and was a Harley enthusiast. He loved spending time with his family.

Visitation will be held at the Randolph Funeral Home Monday, February 20, 2017, from 5:30-7:30 p.m. at which time, funeral services will be conducted by Pastor John Knoll. Mike’s request for cremation will then be honored.
