Reda Mae Hinchman
Reda Mae Hinchman, 83, of Buckhannon, died Thursday, Feb. 23, 2017, at Select Specialty Hospital in Charleston.
She was born Nov. 9, 1933, in Upshur County, a daughter of the late Harley and Millie Carpenter Tenney. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three brothers, Paul, Gene and Harley Tenney Jr.; one sister, Lucille Tenney; and one infant sister, Loraine Tenney.
She is survived by one son, Tom Hinchman and wife, Debra, of Buckhannon; three grandsons, Tommy Hinchman Jr. and wife, Lisa, Michael Hinchman and wife, Francis, and Joshua Hinchman and girlfriend, Janna Rice, all of Buckhannon; three great grandsons, Leeland, Bryson and Noah Hinchman, all of Buckhannon; two great-granddaughters, Trayka and Torie Hinchman, both of Buckhannon; several nieces and nephews; two sisters, Virginia Russell and husband, Larry, of Upshur County, and Phyllis Humphrey, of Century; and two brothers, Bernard Tenney of Barbour County, and William Tenney, of Buckhannon.
Mrs. Hinchman was a truck driver and a homemaker. She attended the Full Gospel Church.
Friends will be received Monday, Feb. 27, 2017, from 5-8 p.m. at the Poling-St. Clair Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held 1 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home with the Rev. J. Edward McDaniels officiating. Burial will follow in the Upshur County Memorial Park in Buckhannon.
