Dixie Ann Pritt Taylor
Dixie Ann Pritt Taylor, 72, a former resident of Mill Creek and a resident of Elkins Rehabilitation and Care Center, passed away early Sunday, April 23, 2017, in the center.
She was born March 20, 1945, in Elkins, a daughter of the late Stirl Pritt and the late Florence Rohr Pritt.
On Nov. 14, 1964, she was married to Victor L. Taylor, who preceded her in death Dec. 28, 1996. Surviving are three sons, Ronald L. “Ron” Taylor, Patrick Taylor and wife, Jessie, all of Mill Creek and Chad Taylor and girlfriend, Jasmine, of Elkins; and two daughters, Jacqueline and Tanya Taylor, both of Mill Creek. Grandchildren, Charity and Amber Taylor, Victor Taylor III, Alexa Taylor, Jordan Oxley, Jason Paul Taylor II, Caleb and Madyson and Parker Taylor; and great-grandchildren, Kenah and Keyon Lipscomb, Brennan, Jayleigh and Baylen Taylor and Avery and Harper Hamrick also survive.
Also preceding her in death were two uncles, Paul and Ralph Rohr. Mrs. Taylor attended the schools of Randolph County and was employed by Snowshoe for 20 years. She was an avid bingo player and a member of the Valley Independent Baptist Church at Huttonsville.
Friends may call from 6-8 p.m. Wednesday, April 26, at Tomblyn Funeral Home in Elkins. A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday from the funeral home chapel. Interment will follow in the Brick Church Cemetery near Huttonsville.
