NaKeia Alisa Morales-Moore
NaKeia Alisa Morales-Moore, 33, a resident of Montrose, passed from this life Sunday, Sept. 3, 2017, at home. She had been in her usual health, and death was unexpected.
NaKeia was born Saturday, Dec. 10, 1983, in Elkins, a daughter of Joseph Henry Morales and Rhonda Faye Phillips.
Also left to cherish her memory are two daughters, Abbigale Lynn Moore and Angelina Grace Moore, both of Clarksburg; and four siblings, Joseph “Joey” Morales and Samantha Jo Morales Shearin, both of Elkins, and Jessica Mason Morales-Chilel and Taylor Jordan Morales, both of Chesapeake, Virginia; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins; and stepmother, Cheryl Morales of Chesapeake, Virginia.
NaKeia attended Oscar Smith High School in Chesapeake, Virginia, and then RCB High School in Clarksburg. She then attended Salem Center Genesis Healthcare and obtained her CNA license. NaKeia had been employed at REM in Bridgeport, Companion Care in Morgantown and then Nella’s Nursing Home in Crystal Springs. She was an avid photographer and started her own business called NAM Photography. NaKeia was a dedicated mother and loved her children above anything else.
Visitation will be held at the Randolph Funeral Home Wednesday, Sept. 13, from 1-3 p.m., during that time, the casket will remain closed. A funeral service will be conducted at 3 p.m. The Rev. Michael “Y A” Joseph will officiate. NaKeia’s request for cremation will then be honored.
