Ranae Leigh Chewning
Ranae Leigh Chewning, 54, a resident of Mabie, passed away Monday, Oct. 23, 2017, at her home, surrounded by family and friends.
She was born Nov. 22, 1962, in Elkins, a daughter of Dana Robert and Carolyn Triplett Sutherland of Mabie.
Also surviving are three sons, Matthew Robert Chewning, Nicholas Alan Chewning and Tyler Mark Chewning, all of Mabie; two daughters, Danielle Leigh Chewning and Emily Grace Chewning, both of Mabie; and two sisters, Roxanne Knicely of Elkins and Diana Robin Miller, both of Mabie. Four grandchildren, Chandler Drew Wyant, Major Markus Chewning, Riker Cruz Chewning and Roman Wylde King; and her former husband, Mark Wayne Chewning of Mabie, also survive.
Ranae was a phenomenal cardiovascular sonographer and a registered nurse at Davis Medical Center. She was a member of the Rowan Memorial United Methodist Church.
Friends may call from 5-7 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 25, at the Tomblyn Funeral Home in Elkins. Interment will be private.
